Ed White 321 vs FOIS
If I could just have one Speedy in my collection - which should I get? My main priorities for this watch are one that best represents the space heritage and will remain a classic for a long time to come.
Both options would be directly purchased from an omega boutique. Cost is not a factor! |

Cost not a factor then it's easy. Get a 321 Speedmaster. Even better get the full platinum bracelet Speedy 321 for $97k.

Judging by your criteria, 321 for sure. Not even comparable.

With your criteria and with cost not being a factor for you, the 321 is the way to go.
Good luck you with your choice! |

For me it's definitely the 321 Ed White.
This reference is pretty much the best Omega has to offer. The aesthetics, the technology and the history are unique. |

Unfair comparison! 321 by far.
Unless it's a vintage FOIS with a 321. |

I don’t know about “weird”…. The results show that, cost not being a factor, almost no one would take the blue-grey dial, new domed crystal, more modern movement and adjustable clasp of the FOiS over the 321. I mean, I thought it would a big win for the 321 (and I voted for the EW), but not totally overwhelming (26-1 as of this post). |

Is this a serious question? I'm just shocked you found one person to vote for the FOIS.

I am one of the FOIS’s biggest fans but it doesn’t win here. It’s a bit of an unfair fight though. The 321 movement is a show stopper.

Opting for the Speedmaster 321 for its direct link to the original Moonwatch and timeless space heritage.
