Parts for a 5512 project
Hi,
I was hoping I can get some help. I got a functional Rolex 1560 movement as part of a trade for a watch, and I want to use it to try to put together a 5512 submariner. I know it sounds like wishful thinking but it is one of my dream watches, and I figure that might as well give it a try. I'm new to the vintage watch world so instead of burning money, and wasting my time, I figure I would ask for advise from this community about where to procure the parts that I need for this new endeavor. I saw some dials and hands on Ebay but I havent seen anywhere to get a case. Any idea where I can start looking ? |

Google Matthew Green he may be able to help, parts won’t be cheap but worth the effort if you can get nice case and dial, good luck

Not a good idea imho, probably cheaper to buy an original complete 5512.
Going your route and investing a lot of money it will always be a Frankenstein and worth only the sum of parts
