2025 discontinued
Hey guys,
Looking back at email threads to my authorized dealer I noticed that January 31 was The day that Patek discontinued models last year. Looking at the website today, I believe there’s no change. Anybody have any insight regarding when models will be retired? Thanks |

I believe it's typically February 1st, so likely tomorrow.

All right, great guys thanks for the input. It’s always interesting to see what will be retired and what you have on your wish list and adjusting accordingly.

I assume some steel models. I believe Patek Philippe has stated before they try to keep steel models to a minimum, distributed across references. With cubitus taking up allocation, I expect to see 5212a go and then become 5212g by April maybe.
Who knows, interesting to see. |

Hello Friends :-). Sorry to bother but thought you might like this info and I would love to know how you guys feel. I have a very trusted friend who works closely with two AD’s in Florida and they have both hinted to him during their conversations that there are not many steel nautilus left (close to run out I think he means) and that’s what they hear from higher ups at PP. With the 5740G being a PM and now that the 5711A being replaced by the PM 5711G he thought after discussions with both AD’s that this very well might be the plan for the future of 5712A and the 5726A following suit and going the PM route as well. I sure hope not as I’d like thE SS model stay in the catalog and maybe purchase one day from my AD sadly the chances of that gets less and more less by the day. Love your ideas or thoughts thanks for listening :-)))

Finally the 5712 and 5167 on the way out.. was on the cards for some time.
I guess the rubber 5167 will be replaced with the 42mm size already out. Be interesting to see if we get a 5812G steel. Maybe not with the 5712R still in production (for the moment at least) |

Yeah my meaning was with the 5168g already out at a larger size, the rubber version 5167 will probably get one more year then will be discon in favour of just the 5168 size and maybe new colour options. For the 5712r I reckon one more year too then that will be replaced with a 5812 in precious metal only and different colour options perhaps? Maybe an option. Just a guess.

When launched 28 years ago, that 5167 on tropical created a hue and cry - then it became a sensation.
It was unexpected and mimicking the Nautilus a little bit - causing an unexpected segmentation that led TS to eventually say PP wasn't going to be defined by a single reference (or words to that effect). I see the bracelet is gone and probably a better choice to position the Aquanaut vis a vis the Nautilus. I'd like to get the SS 5167 from my AD but unlikely... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

2025 discontinued
TS breaking our hearts… RIP 5712/1A-001
Google search still shows it’s on the PP website.. but once you click it disappears. Guess now we gonna wait a year or so until we’ll get the white gold version that’ll be more or less double the retail price of what the steel ref was. What a shame. 5726 and 5990 are next up in line (I believe 5726 will get discontinued first). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
