Datejust 16220

I was wondering what you guys think of this 16220. I really like it, however, I think the polishing looks a bit off and the clasp looks like it was polished almost into oblivion, parts of the logo are hardly visible anymore.

I'm not sure what information you are looking for, but if you're just asking for personal opinions, I don't find anything about that particular watch appealing. I don't like full arabic dials or luminova lume, and I really dislike the jubilee dial. And to me, this watch has zero vintage character.

I think my main question is what you guys think of the polishing that has obviously been done more or less heavily. I can totally see how a lot of people won‘t Like this configurarion. I like it because it‘s so quirky.

Yes, the case and bracelet have obviously been machine-polished and refinished in an amateurish way. I'm not sure what else to say about it, since you already see it. Generally, people don't worry as much about case condition with DJs, but obviously this one has a premium price tag on it, which I don't really understand. Ultimately it's really a matter of personal preference.

You already helped a great deal. I thought that the polishing was done poorly and that this configuration is somewhat less desirable for many. Which makes the price quite steep.

JUBILEE DIAL do fetch a small premium but this is strongest money.

Also isn't the 16220 an engine turned bezel not polished?

Like this ..Rolex Datejust 36
£4,187
https://chrono24.app/rolex/datejust-...GB&SETCURR=GBP

Also check serial number as perhaps 2000 usually a A or U serial and would be a SWISS footer dial perhaps bit maybe SWISS MADE is ok..... I'm no expert on these.
