There are however some reputable grey dealers in Vegas which would be where I would buy my watch if I was there. |

OK, so what would a good street price be? AD or grey dealer?
I hate the stupid Rolex site, since you can only get AD info for your own country. WTF is up with that? I'm stumbling in the dark for AD's in NYC, Toronto CA and Florida... |

What a bloody rip-off!!
An extra 400 bucks (over the standard SS Sub-date 16610) for what? Just a different coloured green bezel and a maxi dial.......all else being absolutely the SAME - same bracelet, same case, same movement, same crown........crazy!!

Cheapest I can get a quote on for the New TT Sub C is $9K out the door. Can anyone else find a better price? BTW,,that 9K is from a reputable grey dealer on my end. Still a tad too much IMHO, I am looking for a 25%-30% discount in this economy,,,is that asking too much |

Now THAT's a ripoff -- the Yachtmaster for $3450 more than a stainless sub.
What's the difference? PCLs, and a bezel made of platinum that couldn't be worth more than $500 in material. |

well, if you want you can buy a perfectly good ss sub(non ceramic bezel) date on TRF(with papers) for around $3500.00 in great shape, but if you insist, go to an AD, pay another $3K and enjoy...cause it has a warranty!

On the jewelry side YG and RG are not popular, WG and PLAT are.
why are dealers charging what they?? because people will pay it. The age old reason. -Eddie

However, in the Asian market, only YELLOW gold sells. If it's not YELLOW, nobody's going to touch it. WG is not at all popular there - looks like steel so why would anyone want to spend so much money on a metal that hardly looks like gold. Well, that's the way they think at least. JJ
