Welcome.
For me the LV represents the best of the modern divers. A reference that combines the readability of the maxi-dial and the classic case size. With the addition of a black insert, the LV gains a measure of versatility that sets it apart. |

Welcome to TRF. The green in LV gets me. It is almost like 2 watches with a change of insert, with benefit of maxi dial/hands over 16610.
I am thinking of flipping my black dial sub for LV:) |

Hi there Larry,
I have the LV and think it is great. I bought a non date sub, then spotted the LV on the Rolex website and wanted one from then on. I must admit that I considered a sea dweller as I thought the green might of been too bright, but after trying on the two a few times I decided to get the LV. For me it is the perfect Rolex. I like the green bezel and the maxi dial makes the whole watch seem so much bigger.

Own it. Never wear it. Kinda actually dislike it. Hard to match with anything you wear. Keeping it only becuase it might be discontinued.
Yes, I know. I suck. |

Extremely satisfied with mine! The Maxi-Dial is easier for me to see, the green color is a nice addition and the date feature comes in very handy at work.
