Tolerances

Ok so lets one up the can I wear my watch in the shower, beach, pool, play golf etc. Depths are well advertised etc. Really what are the temperature tolerances of our beloved Oyster before they start to get grumpy? Not that I am worried about my daily use but, I've got a feeling that the piece of mechanical sea food on my wrist is holding some hidden secrets about it's durability..

If you search, I think someone on these threads - Froze theirs in water for 48 hours and boiled it to thaw it and it still keeps time to the second daily.
