I don't feel bad, just looking for help spotting things that I cannot see, as I am no Rolex expert.
I got the song and dance with this thing, so I was expecting it to be a Fugazi... I was curious about the rehaut engraving myself. Thanks for looking. |

The rehaut is one thing, the other is the wavy gold links on the band, The date is jacked, and a Rollie has an all clean look. I wouldn't be for certain, but Invicta has watch pillows like that.

Hi tpotter,
Welcome to TRF I'm afraid that is a photo of a fake, if you get a pic of a 16613 and compare the pair you'll see the difference, things to look for here are the bezel and bezel pearl, winding crown and crown guyards and the rehaut :-) dial is on another level :-) I would't be waling away from this RUN Enjoy your stary here Dave.

Thanks again guys...
The thing is .. for 06 sub, is it supposed to have rehaut etching ? What made me suspicious ( other then what cannot be seen in crappy photos ). Was the crown looks silver, not gold... I have some additional crappy pics.. if anyone want to tear it up some more. |

I'm not an expert but I'm sure I read on TRF that the ROLEXROLEX engraving started in 2007 on the Z serial. Happy to be corrected if I'm wrong.

Most obvious: Bezel pearl is way off & date wheel is stuck.

Fake, in pic 1 the endlink on the bottom has missing gold on the left if you look carefully, however that could be an aftermarket bracelet? I doubt it though. Also to me the dial print looks too..... fuzzy..... may just be me though. Also in the 3rd pic there is gold wearing off again on the right where the End link meets the first link. Typical of wrapped gold.
