Icon7 What is the best AD in NJ/NY?

Hi everyone, I am thinking to get the 31mm TT DJ Rose gold with roman number. Is there any recommended AD I should go to? And what % of discount I should ask for? Being the economy is bad, I think I can get some good deal.

I really can't recommend any ADs in NY. I tried to get a discount when I was initially looking and Tourneau would only give me a 9% discount. Wempe is also an AD in NYC and they would only give me a similar discount. Unfortunately NYC is not affected by the economy as much as other locations. These stores sold a lot of Rolex watches over the holidays so they do not have to bargain as much.

I suggest looking at one of the sellers here like DavidSW. Get prices and easy to deal with plus you won't pay taxes.

I was in NYC 2 weeks ago looking for S/S GMT2C. None of the AD's had it in stock... Tourneau, Wempe... I dealt with 2 different sales persons at Wempe. Both were from Germany and both were equally unreliable, uninterested, and alienating. I can't understand why Wempe would use german salespeople in NY or any US location in customer service job given the high general standards of US customer service and poor reputation of german's selling skills. I did not even consider bargaining with them. Would not buy a watch there.
At Tourneau, the service was fine, but they did not have the product in stock.

Sorry for hearing the bad experience. I never been to Wempe, but I found in NY most sales in expensive shop have altitude. I was thinking maybe just go shop around and see.
