Well, after two monthes, i thin kits time for the first cleaning.

any ideas and tips from the pro's?

All thats needed to keep any Rolex oyster clean is a weekly wash in just plain soap and water and a soft bristle brush for hard to reach places like inside clasp.

X1... Really doesn't need much. Just some good 'ole soap and water.

Get a soap pump dispenser filled with 5% Dawn dish soap and 95% water. Use it once a week and your watch will never look better. Also works well on eye glasses.

If you really want to have some fun- place the bracelet/watch carefully on the bottom of a sink.

Spray some Scrubbing Bubbles on it- wait 5 minues- look at all the dark ooze and grime that comes out of it...

Rinse and enjoy! Better than new.

I have used soap and a tooth-brush up until now. I have just bought a cheap $20 ultrasonic cleaner on Amazon and that's what I am using now (only for the bracelet - not the case). It works like magic - and my wife is excited after I cleaned her jewelry in it too.

I keep a soft toothbrush and some handsoap in the shower and I scrub it every once in awihle while showering. It's easy and my watches are always clean. (I have oyster watches, not DJs, etc).

I have heard a jeweler say the number #1 reason for broken rolexes is people dropping them on bathroom floors. Be careful while cleaning it not to drop it, wherever you are.

I just use some dishwashing liquid in a sink filled with water and a soft bristle toothbrush.

If your watch is not very dirty, just "not clean" and oily, then using dishwasher liquid + running warm water + gentle rubbing with your hand on both the case and the bracelet should be enough. Make sure to rinse it with a lot of water after the cleaning, to remove the rest of the dishwasher liquid and foam. Finish it up by using a microfiber cloth to rub it dry. If you're unsatisfied with the results, or in the case you have a lot of dirt collected in the bracelet and/or the clasp, then use a soft toothbrush to remove the rest of the dirt.
