service mark up's

apologies if this has been touched before but i'm curious about the servicing on my sub. is the price the same regardless of whether i take it to my local AD or Bexley UK.....for some reason i've been given the impression that the AD's add on an admin/cover charge to the price

The cost of the Service should be the same regardless whether you send your watch directly to Bexley or go through an AD. That is certainly my experience, although I will only go directly to Bexley now as had some bad experiences with my local AD cocking things up on an all too regular basis!

The only charge they'd add on is P & P, which doesn't amount to very much in the grand scheme of things

I sent both my GMT's to RSC for servicing through an AD in December. The price was £330 each which was a fair bit more than I had expected from reading posts on TRF. Does this seem ok ?
