well looks like i am going to have to bite the bullet and buy a hosue in Oz as we cant find a damned thing to rent, getting the living daylights kicked out of me on ex rate , so a few play things may have to go !

1972 3.0 million straight hand explorer 2 , the freccione, in beautiful and stunning condition. this is the rarer early version with the collectable straight second hand, not to be confused with the cheaper and more readily available mid and late series versions, early t swiss t' dial version with mk2 thick font bezel. the watch is on its original folded link 7836 bracelet.


the watch has literally just returned from Rolex Australia where it has had a full service and light polish. this was i believe the watch's first service and polish and it retains nice fat lugs, (with the correct bevelled edge remaining mostly in tact :) )
