For those that have used or owned both, which is more comfortable? Is there a big difference between these two and the clasp on the older ("M" or "V") series Sub for example?

They're both pretty comfortable to me. I've only used the glidelock that's on the DSSD so how it is on the Sub I can't say.

I like the flexibility of the glidelock a tad better, but for me the easylink is a bit more comfortablr. I'd say that's because of size more than anything.

Personally, I like the Glidelock a little better because it's so easy to adjust it 1/8 " in a few seconds. So, as the day warms up and my wrist swells a bit, it's easy to adust to fit looser.

The glidelock is very easy to adjust--my vote is for it!

Glidelock the winner for me! The easylink clasps don't do anything that the glidelock ones can't but still have awkward micro adjustment which requires a springbar tool.

As mentioned above with the glidelock perfect adjustment takes seconds, where as with easylink it's the easylink extentsion or nothing...anything more needs tools.

I have used both. Ultimately, whether it takes 10 seconds or 60 seconds to adjust the bracelet the fact that you can is the best feature of all. Yes I prefer the glidelock because it rocks. However, on a day when your wrist swells a bit and you need a bit of extra length it takes no time to take off the IIc, pop out the easylink and put it back on. No trip to the watchmaker ;)

Try doing that with a Seamaster or Seamaster GMT! I really liked my Omega 2254.50 but what got on my nerves was the fact the bracelet had no micro-adjustments like on my sub and if I'm not mistaken there were no half-links available.

for me it all comes down to which one i can get for the best price. im buying either a GMT IIc or a Sub-C in the future and i will only buy preowned. so whichever is the best price when im ready is the one i will go with. i like the glidelock but the GMT easly link is nice too.
