Unpolish a bracelet? LOL

ok....so i'm a bit stupid. i got this cape cod polisher to polish my pam 90. i got carried a bit and tried it on my gmt II bracelet. fvck!!! help!!! it's not fully polished but it's not brushed anymore. please help!!!

Take some 3M scotch brite and brush it.

brush with toothbrush? should i get a harder toothbrush? or will any toothbrush work?

edit: didn't realize scotch brite is the foam scrub and not a cleaning agent..lol... ok, i'll try that. thx.

Not with a toothbrush but with a 3M SB pad.
And brush in one direction.

Agreed, keep it straight, and lightly finish off with some 0000 steel wool to fine tune it.

Yes, #0000 is the finest, I think. You just want to lightly dress the links after the scotchbrite as it gives it a refined brushed appearance. I usually take the bracelet completely apart, tape the ends down [and all the shinny edges], and make sure you keep it straight.

hi i would also like to see a pic of the polishing. i polished some bits on my new sub. pics are in the gallery. dont make it any worse. if you dont have any experience of polishing consult your expert at the shop. you dont have to get them to do it and they might even show you how.

here's what i did. kind'a hard to see the shine from the pix. but it's definitely annoying me.
