New Submariner Ceramic Release date

Was at an AD in Kuala Lumpur today and was told that for the Asian Market the new Sub's will only be released in November 2010

Was hoping to see the new one at the AD in Maui first week of July. Guess I might have to wait!

I don't think that I would write down in stone anything said by an AD....

Release date isn't as relevant as the date you actually can get your hands on one...

Before Christmas if we are lucky I would think, we all know how Rolex is with these things. I bet some Ad's wont even have them in by then or if they are lucky one would come in and probably be for someone who was first on the list waiting for a year or more allready.

Hey im from Kuala Lumpur and yes i heard the same thing from local AD but i dont think i will wanna buy it from Kuala Lumpur because most of the members here suggested that Singapore gives better discount.

Agree. I'm sure those who want to be the first to get one will have to pay a premium over MRSP and I'm wondering how large this might be....

I would not pay any premium over the MRSP on any watch, i dont know why Rolex has a MRSP for the Daytona, as AD's seem to charge what they like for the SS models anyway.

Talked to a local AD today and was told September/October 2010 with MSRP of $7700 for the green on green (new LV) and $7200 for the black on black...I've been on the fence buying the 16610 for a few months now waiting to see the new models before I buy my first Rolex...the wait continues.
