Ad experiance
First time at Rolex AD this morning, gentlemen was very helpful , I went in with my heart set on a 2 tone GMT II c, I thought this would be the perfect watch for me since I work in Aviation, however after wearing one, All I can say is I just did not care for it.The all stainless GMT IIc looked much better and would be a watch that I would purchase, I really like the dial but I do not care for the case. I had no intention of ever looking at the 16610 lv green dial sub but somehow I my eye just kept going to it so I asked him to take it out of the case, something about this watch is special to me, I really like the new dial and old case combination, this might sound strange but the old style bracelet clasp seems more comfortable to me. I have my heart set on this watch.

Did you try the Explorer II? The case is more similar to the LV, but it has the GMT function. The GMT's rotating bezel is now largely superfluous from a functional standpoint since the current movement allows independent movement of the 12hr and 24hr hands. The original GMT didn't have this capability, hence the rotating bezel.

The LV is definately a great watch, I'm so happy with mine that I just got yesterday, the Green Bezel just sets the watch off nicely.
Good luck with which ever watch you get :) |

The LV is one sweet watch and will become more and more rare as The Hulk takes its place.
