Which one's more popular on TRF? SS Sub-date or the SD?

Hi guys,

Simple poll for all of you chappies!!

Which one seems to be the more popular of the two?

Vote now with comments please.

While I love BOTH, I think I seem to see some kinda trend from most of you guys swinging towards the SD. Don't know....could be wrong.

What do YOU think? Remember, it's NOT about which one you prefer...but rather which one you think is more popular!!

Cheers - JJ

The Sea-Dweller gets my vote, because I own one and its just that bit more special and different from the other ss sporties ....

The Sub/Date would be more common.

It may very well be a tossup between the Sub and the SD, when the question involves the SS Sub and does not include the Blue TT model. I see a lot of interest in the SD right now. Good question, JJ.

Guess you want an answer, though. I will say the Seadweller. I suppose it would be MY choice out of the two, since I already own a Submariner.

I like the sub date, but I have to say that since I got my Sinn U2, I am beginning to like bulky watches and have been thinking sea dweller a lot.
I will have to visit my AD to actually check one out.

I would guess the Sub Date is more popular because it has been around longer and is a model people know. Lately, for my own watch collection, I have been leaning towards the Sea Dweller, but I could go for a sub as well. If I do go for the Sub, I might be especially interested in the LV, not because of the Green Bezel particularly but because of the enhanced readability of the dial. All are excellent, now I just have to get myself in the right position to purchase one, at least one, I should say.

Hey JJ - Hope you have some air conditioning or a good fan!

I think the Sub is the most popular, but I prefer the SD. Larry.

Sub is definitely more popular, partly because of more different configurations than the SD.

SD is more functional, better bang for the buck.

I like them both but if I can only have one it would be the SD.

In my opinion the SS Sub Date is the quintessential Rolex.

Sub Date, but that is because it is the cornerstone of the sports watches with a tremendous history. The SD is really just a monster sub, and it is totally cool as well.
