Panerai 328 winding issue
I wear my 328 about once a week and I noticed yesterday it stopped working. I would manually wind it turning the crown about 40 times and it would start working again. I thought with the automatic movement it would keep it going for the rest of the day as I was wearing it but it stopped again. I wound it this morning over 100 times and it's not moving at all. I adjusted the date and time and then wound it a couple more times and still nothing. Is there anything I can check out? Do I need to take it to the AD? I don't have a winder I can put it on for the day but I'll try wearing it and see what happens.

40 windings should last you a day. 100 winds and not moving at all? i would bring it to the service center to have the watch checked over.

Figures, I was just up that way yesterday. Guess I'll go see them next weekend.

That doesn't sound right. 40 winds should last you 24 hours if not more. 100 winds and it doesn't work, then it's broken. Take it to your nearest service centre and have them check it. :)
