True or False?

Once I read the following, choose if it's true or false in each case!

a) I once read, that regardless if you have the means to buy more than one watch, "He who has more than one watch, may like all of them, and love

none!"

b) I also read that "He who was only one watch, knows what he has and WILL DO ANYTHING IN HIS POWER TO KEEP THAT WATCH IN GOOD STANDING!

a) Not necessarly... so false.

b) Not necessarly... so false.

I love more than 1 watch.

One who owns just one watch might not love it.

false x2

a) the more the merrier
b) given the current Rolex price point - one would be a fool not to keep each piece in top condition

To paraphrase on old American saying:

Beware the man who owns but one watch. He likely knows how to use it.

IMHO, the answer on both questions is the same - false.

False x 2
There were times I lusted over certain watches, took weeks to search for a perfect one at perfect price. Thought about how good it would look on my wrist days and nights. Finally found someone in Thailand or Japan who had it. Email them, paid for it, and waited for the delivery. The wait time for shipment was inhumane and drove me insane.

Finally it arrived, it made me so excited and I love the watch. Such episode happens couple times a year.

Then I heard my son commented earlier this year about my bad habit "Dad, you always wear your new watch everyday for a month or so, then you don't touch them for a long time"

Now I realize for me the joy of collecting is in the hunt and anticipation. I decided to sell everything that I don't regularly wear, particularly those lower end and me-too ones. I will be more discrete in my collection.
