Best Rolex Pair
Hello Friends,
Just wondering what you would say is the best Rolex pair and why, if you could only have two watches. I'm going to say: 1) SS Daytona with White Dial 2) SS GMT IIC I have neither right now. Feel free to post your pics. |

That is a tough call: For me the two would be a 4 line 6538 Sub and a 6240 Screw Down PN Daytona. With that said-I own neither and am searching for the 6538 and will not pursue a 6240. My current best pair: My 6241 PN and my 6263 Daytona--no disrespect to their other siblings-the pictures can speak to why!!

The only "pair" I have, and very appreciative of that fact.

A Sea Dweller and GMT II with a few different inserts have worked well for me so far.

That's a tough choice...........can't go wrong with a GMT IIC and Sub combo.

I think the combo you listed is pretty spot on. Now go get 'em!

If I could only have two (not sure of the point of this exercise, really), it would be a 16610 & a 16710. If I could add a third, it would probably be a Daytona or a Datejust.

I already have one half of the perfect pair (Sub-C LN), and the other half would probably be a DateJust II WG/SS, most likely with the rhodium arabic dial, or maybe the blue sticks dial. A sporty and a dressy watch would make me happy I think. I'm not too fond of chronos, so I wouldn't consider a chrono to be in my perfect pair.
