eyes on them a few years ago, but after going and trying on a few over the weekend, I know that I have have one very soon. I thought the 45.5 would be overwhelming on my wrist, but it wasn't.

So please post up some PO XL wrist shots.

Lug-tip to lug-tip, there is only 1mm difference between the 42 and 45.5 PO.

I actually prefer the bigger PO in the chrono version and the non-chrono in 42mm.

If you ever get a chance to see a POC and a Daytona side by side, it looks like a Mini parked next to a truck.

Now, the PO has the 1120 movement, correct?

How quickly does the date change at or around midnight? Snap like a Rolex or does it take it's time?

Also can you hear the ticking of the Planet Ocean if you put your ear up to it?

the non-chrono version has the 2500 movement.

not sure about the datre change..... and dont recall hearing ticking noise

Hi Matt,

It carries the cal. 2500 in it, the C variant which, as a general rule, is incredibly stable, accurate and reliable. The cal. 1120 is essentially the same movement minus the co-axial escapement - the cal. 2500 also runs at a slightly lower beat rate than the cal. 1120 (25.2k bph vs. 28.8k bph).

The date mechanism takes longer to change over at midnight - I couldn't say exactly how long, but it's definitely not the immediate "snap" that Rolexes have. You can, indeed, hear the ticking as well
