This is s Super Rare Rolex Date Just from mid 1950's Era.
With the very desirable Copper Movement 720. This incredible movement is one of the Best for that period.

Rolex Oyster DateJust from Mid 1950's. All 18K Gold.
Model : BREVET with a "+" and 6305. Need to see with loupe.
Movement : 720
Dial : Refinish.
Serial : Impossible to tell - 99% erased!
Serial Movement Number : 75771
Jewels : 18
Diameter : 36mm
Lugs : 20mm
Crystal : Acrylic
Date Wheel : Alternating RED/BLACK
Bracelet : Original 18K Gold Jubilee. Fits 7 1/2" Wrist.
Clasp Code : Dated 4/56.
Box + Papers : None.

First the Flaws :

1) Refinished Dial. I have no idea when it was done.
2) 18K Band has 2 links repaired as seen in pictures below.

Just so you know the 18K Jubilee Band is all hollow 18K Gold. NOT GOLD PLATED.

Now the real facts. Many Rolex watch aficionado knows this is not something we see everyday. There will be many 18K DJ with leather bands and all. This one comes with its Original 18K Yellow Gold Band and dated 4/56. That puts this watch made sometime in the mid 1950's era.

Next the unique Copper Movement. I took it to my retired Rolex technician and he was amazed at how beautiful this watch is. The most appealing fact is that it has a Copper 720 Movement. This 720 he says will outlast our life span despite it being nearly 60 years old!
Oh yes. He remembers this one being the 720. Rolex made this one all the way until 1957.
You see, now retired, he had worked for 35 years at Rolex Geneva since the 50's. He showed me an old Rolex book and there it was the 720 movement.

As to the who the owners were for this watch - I have no history. Just was able to chance upon this watch in my travels and could not pass up the beauty of it. And now here it is.

Watch has been overhauled recently owner. Now keeping excellent time. The 720 Movement is still all original.
