Oysterdate and Date
Hi, there is a Rolex Oysterdate for sale that the owner changed the bezel and put a new one with diamonds on white gold. This watch comes with sapphire crystal. I think, not for sure, that I did not come in that original time. The owner have the smooth bezel original that I would change immediately by course. These watches are good value? They are asking $ 1800
There are Another Date automatic that has the same bezel but I think it comes directly from the Rolex done so. They are asking $ 2500. I would like to know about your suggestions. Thanks in advance |

Dates are great watches that run about 34mm on current models. Datejusts are 36mm. Dates tend to fetch lower prices on the used market, which can make them real bargains. I have no idea waht the price should be on the watch your are looking at, without more information.
However, if you are asking about a Date that has had the original plastic crystal replaced with sapphire-- that's a problem. Swapping the bezel back to the original isn't any problem. Do you know the approximate age of the watches? |
