Quick question regarding Rolex Datejust

Hi all,

I've got a Rolex Datejust 78274 midsize champagne dial with factory diamond markers. A Serial, I believe.

How much are these going for approximately?

Thank you

Condition, photos and service history would be factor in pricing.

As I have advised to the other forum members previously, the best way to find out what your watch REALISTIC value is by checking with eBay "completed item" section. Find a watch that is similar to yours and look up what price did a buyer actually pay.

Nobody knows the value of any given watch until it is sold. Expect less if you sell your watch out right to a grey market dealer because they'll have to pay the rent, the overhead and other expenses. You may list it on eBay and put a "reserve price" on it to protect yourself.

I also have a TT Datejust with a diamond dial. I believe one like that was recently sold for $2700 on eBay. However, yours is a mid-size which is less desireable in the rest of the world other than in Asia, so I would say, it would probably go for $2000....give and take a couple hundred $$$. Needless to say the condition of your watch, the year, and the color of the dial also should put into consideration.
