Having a hard time locating a 1.25 link for my super jubilee..
I went to 2 Ad's in NJ close to my work and both insisted that there was no 1.25 link available for the super jubilee and all the links where the same size. I told them they where wrong and they basically asked me if I bought me watch there and then kicked me out.. I E-mailed my AD where I bought the watch and he said he would check and get back to me and that was 2 days ago.. I need 2 stainless steel 1.25 links to make this watch fit like a glove but am unable to locate them.. Does anyone know a AD in NJ or NY area or one that will order it and ship it to me.. (If they really make these magical links)

I asked them to send me two 1.25 links for my super jubilee braclet so I can take it to a AD and they can get the perfect size for me. They said NO , I have to send them the watch and they will install the links. I asked what if it fits better with just one and you put both on , without me there I can't tell what the best fit would be. They said they will send me a peice of Rolex yarn with a envolope so I can measure my wrist and send it in.. ROLEX yarn?? This is getting a little annoying to get the right fit on this super jubilee braclet.. I know two 1.25 links will do the trick I just can't get my hands on them!! |

I am not sure if they do walk in's.. Even though I only live 15 minutes from NYC (with no traffic) it is a hassel with my work hours. I size the braclet myself so the easiest thing for me is to give someone my CC and they order the 2 links and ship it to my house.. Why do things have to be so complicated!

The SC should definitely take you as a walk in if its just a link issue.

It's not complicated at all.. You walk in to the RSC and ask for them to help you fit the watch properly..
They will then attach whatever links you need to do the job.. Rolex does not consider themselves a "parts house" and do not sell mail-order to the public

Now, I may have got this COMPLETELY wrong, but I have a suspicion I noticed that you misread a response on another thread a day or two ago, and you that were actually being pointed towards a half-link...
Apologies if I've got this wrong, but it might explain the reception you're getting in the AD's. Or I might have mixed up two members who have nothing to do with each other whatsoever!

North , grew up in Garfield now live in Lincoln park.
I work in retail so I really do not have time to go into the city on weekdays , I go almost every other sunday in the summer for street fairs but the RSC is closed on sundays.. The stores in the DD might be open.. |
