Id heard of a split second chrono previously but hadnt seen it or any mention of its value !
Rolex should introduce this piece again in an 18k case, It looks great !! |

Yes if I remember Rolex used one of the Venus series of rattrapante chronograph calibres slightly modded by Rolex. Not 100% sure what cal was but either 179, 185, 189 or 190, Venus went out of production around 1952,think they were bought out by the now ETA group
