2 watches in 2 days - my husband thinks I've gone off the deep end!
 In a strange quirk of timing, the Rolex I custom ordered from DavidSW a few months ago was delievered on Thursday.And the 'gently used' Seamaster Aqua Terra I finally found online that I liked was purchased this week and deleivered Friday. One, Thurs and one Fri! Fun! I just had the Omega band adjusted to fit me properly this afternoon, but before I left the house, I put the Omega with the really big band on as well as my properly-fitting Rolex. Omega is 36mm and the Rolex is 31mm. I REALLY wanted a 31mm Omega as well, but couldn't find one and couldn't pass up this nice 36mm I saw this week. Omega for every day. Rolex for dress up occasions. (More pics of the Rolex on my Rolex thread.) I don't know how you guys take some super photos of these watches! I need a zoom lens I guess. My camera does NOT do these beauties justice! And any idea what this Omega clasp is called, if anything? My husband loves the sliding thing. He says his Professional/Bond band doesn't have it and it would make it so much easier. I actually think it makes it MORE difficult to get on because its sliding all over the place.  .. but I'll get used to it.Cheers! Suzy |

I like that Omega! Don't worry a bit about the 36mm size - it looks good on you.
Someone who knows more may need to correct me - but isn't that called a "glidelock" clasp? Both beautiful watches. Congratulations! |

Looking good!
 Both watches look great, and by having a 31mm and a 36mm gives you some variety. Enjoy them.

Suzy, if your camera has a "macro" setting give it a try for clearer close up photos.

I wore the Omega all day today at the poker room. Pretty comfy!
Yesterday though it was So hot and sweaty under the watch face in the 100+ weather. I'm going to have to remember that for the really hot summer days! Smaller watch face would be better. I think I will enjoy it more in the winter. :) Lisa - hubby says 'glide lock" is a Submariner special word he knows of, so that's probably not it. Someday I'll be educated enough about the darn watch to know. And no "maco" setting on the camera I know of, but there is some kind of setting so you can take close up pictures of flowers (it actuality has a flower on the dial on the digital). Hmmm ... Maybe that would work. I'll try again another day! Happy 4th of July to all my USA compatriots! Cheers! Suzy
