How it's made
Ok, Blancpain and Panerai have been the manufacturers used in watch related How it's made episodes. When is Rolex's turn!!!??? Both were great episodes though.

I wonder if there exists any archival films from days gone by, such as those old NewsReel films, that presents Rolex as the subject? Seems like I remember a Rolex film from a long time ago, but I am probably wrong.

No way Rolex is going to let the media see their manufacturing process. They have let WT in but many areas are top secret, even to most of the employees.

I just watched the Panerai how it was made the other day. It was very interesting. I wouldn't count on a Rolex version, but it would be nice to see.

Yup. The Rolex factory is like Willy Wonka's chocolate factory. They don't want you to see their Oompa Loompas making their watches.
