Hublot limited edition alinghi

So, I visited Hublot AD in Las Vegas today, and the shop keeper showing me Hublot Alinghi limited 333 pcs. They even gave me a good deal $ 24,900. Is it worth it to buy this watch ? Any opinion ?

http://www.watches24seven.com/galler...2_itemId=21606

Thanks.

It looks like a cool watch to have but the price is important. If it has an in house movement and you are willing to pay for it.... Then go for it!

if the listprice would be 50% of what they ask, I might consider it

but Hublot is imo way too expensive

I still think they want to be AP and they almost ask the same price
Hublot are nice watches but the finishing is not even close to AP movement finishing. So for half the price...yes

I am pretty biased I guess, but I don't like the dial. For me:

A watch like that should be classy, not trendy.
A $25k watch should be on bracelet with a rubber strap thrown in for free.
I don't like black watches. Don't like the look and no matter what it will get scratched, even DLC.
Dial nearly impossible to read.

Hublot makes some stunning watches, I just somehow don't love that one. BUT this is a watch for you so I am sorry to say bad things about it. Normally I say if you don't have anything nice to say then shut up.... Guess I should shut up!

NO, I didnt buy it yet. But ALinghi limited edition, 48MM , very hard to get right now. Sold out anywhere. Selling one on ebay $ 30K . so tempting to get this watch.
My concern is, will I spend this much on Hublot watch ?
If its AP then I will buy it without think twice.
Here is the picture from my Iphone yesterday. They also have The F1 limited edition in Rose gold , awesome but cost $ 35K for this one.

Not a fan of the brand.
I'd say save your money and spend it on another piece from AP

I know that you have mentioned the Shaq earlier and that one is a STUNNER! Love the color scheme on that one.

Have you tried the new models showed at SIHH in Geneva earlier this year?
Or if you are able to find a Don Ramon one of my GRAILS among the LE

Definitely a one of a kind looking watch... but 25K is a lot of scratch.

Be careful.

My 2 cents: for that price there are many, many better watches than Hublot.

Not for me, unless I had an existing collection in excess of 20 or 30 watches..

For that kind of money, I'd be looking at either an AP RO/ ROO or Patek Nautilus.

No, definitely not...unless you have records of it selling for more than what you are buying it for...but it's a catch 22 because you would never have the chance to buy it in that case.

I'd much rather have the $35K RG one. The one on the left doesn't look cool IMO.

Like others have said, $20K+ I'd easily go to AP. My AP ROO Panda is a better watch imo...

if it was 20k cheaper it would be still overpriced in my opinion.
i wouldn't give a penny for an hublot personally.

I just got that watch for a collector I deal with.
He has had AP, Rolex etc and now only collects
Hublot. They have a die hard following, some limited
edition pieces really hold their value and others just
don't....
They are nice watches, they have GREAT customer
service. I would not hesitate to buy it if you like it.
Hublot is a little more under the radar than AP and
I have found most wearing a Hublot know about watches
somewhat while I have encountered many who buy AP
because of the name and their friend told them to.

It really comes down to personal choice.
While I do not own either a ROO or Hublot anymore
I used to have each and I found the Hublot more
comfortable but both were too big for my 6.85 in wrist.
