Stress on the movement

Which will cause more stress / wear & tear on an automatic movement?

a. Wearing the watch.
b. Putting the watch on a winder.
c. Manual winding of the watch.

Or there is no difference at all??

There's little difference, but here are some thoughts,

1. A worn watch will be subject to the same knocks, vibrations, and environment as the user.. this could be a harsh desert, or a nice office..

2. A watch on a winder is running all the time. This will continue to wear out the parts as they interact, mesh, and work 24/7. A stopped watch is incurring zero wear.

3. The entire Cellini line of Mens Rolex watches are manual wind (as were Daytonas until 1989)... they're wound every day without issue..

Agreed...and as long as you are going to service it "sooner or later"! I'd say don't worry about it...

Makes me miss my Speedmaster Moon Watch...
