yeh I have the Glock 27 as well, but that might risk me being locked up if not protected correctly and will not replace my Baby, so I will check on the seprate rider and safe as well, besides good reason to upgrade the gun safe :-)

Allstate won't cover my musical equipment on a homeowner's rider because I use it professionally, so I went with a separate all-risk, inland marine policy with a company who handles only musicians. I'm very happy that way because the company understands my business and the equipment involved, particularly when it comes to vintage gear. For the best coverage on your watches, you want an all-risk, inland marine policy that uses your own stated value. This type of policy will cover you for pretty much any type of loss, anywhere; and unless the adjusters can find an exact duplicate of your item for less, they'll pay you what you told them it was worth. ![]() |

Since most of my friends here think I'm the original YODA, I've never needed insurance for the past 600 odd years.
Don't see why I would need it now!! ![]() ![]() ![]()

[edit:] Actually, I just did the math. Maybe you're not getting raped. I pay about $40 for my GMT-II, but its insurance value is the purchase price, which was much less in 1993. ![]() |

Haven't insured ours yet but checked with my home owners insurance. It's $13.00 per $1,000. They require an appraisal within the last 3 years.
Also have a 800 lb gun safe in the home where they reside when not being worn. ![]()

I posted that my State Farm separate policy runs $13 per $1000 which would be about $70 on a $5000+ watch

I have a separate rider that costs about $10-$11 per thousand. Seems reasonable but cover your wifes rings, etc and add multiple Rollies and it adds up. I feel I have a good insurance carrier but if they cancelled me for the first claim, thats when I might need the Glock!

I dont have any seperate insurance, but when I had my house built last year, I had an inground safe put in. So there pretty safe to say the least. Its not going anywhere, its built into the slab of the house. I also have a couple guns on hand.
