Electric blue

How different is the discontinued electric blue, compared to the blue on say a current SMP?

In pictures it looks roughly similar to the blue in the prior version of the Rolex Sub . . . haven't seen the Omega electric blue in real life yet though.

The blue dial of the 2255.80 is very different than the current blue Seamasters. It's a very radiant arabesque blue as apposed to the pastel blue color of the current models.
