Have You Attended a Rolex Sponsored Event?
The title says it all.
Also, what event was it, where and when was it held, and do you think your attendance in any way influenced your decision to purchase a Rolex? I attended The Rolex Vintage Festival at Lime Rock Park on 4 September 2005 and plan to attend this year as well. This is a 'high end' auto racing event and probably did reinforce my positive impression of the Rolex brand.

Ive been to the Monterey Historic Automobile races that are held at the Laguna Seca Raceway in Monterey, California. Its about an hour and half drive from San Francisco, California.
Rolex is the official timekeeper and sponsor of the event. It actually just happened on August 17-19th of this year but I didnt go this year.

Speaking of Wimbledon...
I've been once. Several years ago, back when the Williams sisters were dominating everything. Due to rain delays (surprise, surprise) everything had been pushed back so far that they actually postponed the womens' doubles final to the Monday after the tournament ended. I remember tickets were £5 (sold first come first...), the train was £5, I bought a hat for £5 and a program for £5. Since I was alone I was able to get an incredible seat (it was open seating) down just behind the baseline. The match was the Williams sisters vs. somebody, and they beat the pants off them. It was great. Probably the best £20 I ever spent. And I still have the hat! |

Not yet, but I wish I could have participated in this one. All I got was the hat.
