Invalid URL
Hello everyone-
When I try to log in from the homepage, I get a message to the effect that it is an "Invalid URL", and I cannot log in. However, when I log in to reply to a thread, the website takes my name and password, and I can get in. it's an easy workaround, but I'm curious - is anyone else having this problem? Thanks- |

No it hasn't always been https (secure encrypted SSL connection).
Previously to a month or two ago it was http (unsecured unencrypted connection). Make sure you go https://www.rolexforums.com and all your communications with the website will be encrypted.

A question Steve.
The difference I notice now is that everytime I click on a thread I now get the question if I want to display secure connections or not. Is this the way it's supposed to be? |

If you are using IE Go to Tools /Internet Options / Security tab /make sure Internet zone is selected first. Then click Custom level/scroll down and look for “Display mixed content” and select it to Enable the annoying pop up will be gone. Its mainly because of the pictures hosted on different sites other than TRF.

https is not slower than http really at all.
It maybe that you have http pages/images cached and when you start to use https it will seem a little slower. But give it a little time and https will appear to be super fast.
