Will Discontinued models command higher value?
Can experts here share some light with me on the above topics.
I heard AD mentioning before that certain models if are expected to discontinue will sell at a higher price as no longer in production and will soon be remove from the current model hence prices will go up. As for the current models, the productions are still on, hence will still be selling at controll discounts. E.g just like the 2009 submariner where the bezel is aluminum. The last batch of V series is selling at higher price. Is that true? |

Cannot see why the only changes in the 16610 since 1988/9 are hardly worth a mention lume change around 1998 SEL bracelet around 2000/1 and LEC.Then a non lug hole case plus a few minor fonts on the rehaut and the different case stamps. So must be millions of 16610 in this world today, and all basically the same except for a few cosmetic detail and different case stamps.

Absolutely,it applies if the demand cannot be fulfilled with the limited supply.
