Icon13 So no Seadweller this year?

I would have loved to see a new Rolex SD along the deepsea for this year ....

The deepsea is the new sd. That's what replaced it when it first came out. No way they bring back sd with ceramic bezel, although i would love it if they did. Deepsea is just a bit too large for my taste.

If they released an updated (sticking to the same overall dimensions of the original) version of the SD, it would be one of the best sellers of all time. The DSSD is too thick/large/heavy for most.

100% agree - just update it like they did to the Sub & now the Sub-ND it would have been a home run (add some red font on the face and wow...).

Never seen a bad word written about the SD. I really wanted one but instead opted for a new Sub-C - just love the bracelet & newer design. Wanted to love the DSSD but just can't get my head round the unnecessary 'ringlock system' writing on the rehaut - just all a little too much IMO.

I'm still holding out hope one day. My DSSD just sits on my dresser collecting dust. If a new SD would be released I might even push back my AP ROO Chrono purchase and get the SD first (actually I'd just dump my DSSD so I didn't have to wait for either.)

Sweet post 1500!!!!!!

Congrats on the 1500! Flip that DS if you're never wearing it!

I too would love to see it however I do not agree that it would be a "best seller". The SD was never a very good seller IMHO so the ceramic SD most likely would not be either. This of course to the general public, us here on TRF would be all over it

It was a gift so it is special to me. Can't bring myself to flip it.
