Permanent link removal question???

Can a permanent link that has been removed be replaced by RSC when the time comes to sell??? A girl I date is tiny 4'11 & she wants a 116200, her wrist is small to say the least. A permanent link or even two will need to be removed. If the links cant be replaced the watch would be unsellable later...

Permanent links cannot be replaced easily.. However, a removable screw link put in that position later is just fine, and unless you measure carefully, is unnoticeable..

This only applies to the older models.. The new bracelets all go down an extra removable link on each side...

As tools said, simply get a screwed link to take the place of the removed permanent link.

X3, spoke with my AD, I am in the process of removing one permanent link, and she informed me that a screwed link can be added later. I will probably go ahead and purchase a screwed link now so I have it in the event that I would like to sell/trade my watch at a later date.

Just be aware of the minor change in taper transition with the screw link vs the permanent link... not a big deal in my opinion...

What is best a custom Rolex or a Rolex that is stuck in custom?

Hmm. Already thinking of a sale scenario?

Maybe you should consider another type of present...one that may not require customization. Or wait until the relationship is more solid before getting a Rolex?

Thanks. I agree but didn't want to state such. Rolexes and wives are forever.
