Icon5 GMT Function

Ok, here's a total noob (which I am) question:

How do you read/use the GMT functionality with the Green hand?

Thanks in advance for passing along what I'm sure is "basic" knowledge

Secondary question:

What's your opinion on the best way to "unload" my SS Sub Date? It's only 5 months old, haven't worn it all the time and it's in excellent condition with all original receipts/paperwork/tags/box/etc. (The reason being that I am more and more loving the new GMT II w/ ceramic bezel )

At this point I shouldn't own more than two Rolexes (my other one being a SS Daytona white dial).

Thanks!

James.
It's really pretty easy.. Here's a handy card. Do the last step first..
Pull the stem all the way out and set the 24hr hand and the minute hand to the exact time (usually your local, but if you have a need, set it to GMT time or anything else). Push in the stem and the watch will start.

Now set the Mercedes hand and the date to the correct hour and date. This is the hand that you bump each hour when traveling through time zones....the 24 hr hand always stays the same and you never have to stop it, the minute hand or the second hand if you are using your watch correctly.

Think twice...

James

Don't get rid of the Sub--it's an icon!!

However, I understand your need to cut down to two. So, if you need to get rid of the Daytona, PM me!
