i wear my TT Daytona daily and hardly had anyone actually take a second glance.

there are a lot of gold color, yellow gold plated or even gold watches out there on people's wrists. Titoni makes some that look almost like a Day-Date unless you have a really close look or are very well versed in Rolex watches to tell from a distance.

i think most people who haven't worn gold on a daily basis are just a tad self-conscious and worry about the attention they think they might get.

go ahead and wear what you like. few will actually know what it is worth.

I too wear my TT Daytona almost daily, and after 5 years I still get attention

I dont love the attention, but I love my watch and thats what matters. I have always considered swapping for a SS model or even converting mine to SS, but I just cant do it. Its too special to me.
