Where to buy a Super jubilee bracelet?
Ok, I was looking around the forum and found that some people have at GMT that have a super jubilee bracelet. I think it looked really nice so on the way to visit my dad at Laguna beach. I stopped at South Coast Plaza Mall. First I stopped but Ben Bridge and inquire about a super jubilee bracelet. They said that it can't be done since they only sell the watch and not by parts. I didn't really push it since they are not a "Rolex" store. So, I went ahead and to the The Rolex store in the same mall. When I asked the same question. The sales lady said that nobody does it and rolex doesn't mix and watch bracelet and it will not fit. I told her that I have seen it before and actually show her the picture from the forum with a yacht master with a jubilee bracelet, just to prove that it can be done with other rolex models. Then she goes on saying that if you do that the value of your rolex will go down and also that if there is something that goes wrong with the watch rolex will not fix it since its been modified and people that does that got a preowned rolex. At that point I was kinda loosing my cool since she seems to be narrowed minded. I actually told her, if i buy a new yacht master and buy a new super jubilee bracelet that i can't do it and you will consider it being preowned already even if i have not even left the store yet and will lose my warranty right away even if i just got the watch? Then she goes on saying that i should not do that to rolex anyway they have a set design that I should not change. I was holding my tongue but in my head, "I can do whatever I want with my watch and not follow what her "ideal" rolex should look like". Sorry for the long story but that was the worst experience I had in a rolex store. I want to know where I can buy a super jubilee bracelet. I don't want to go to another rolex store and have the same problem. Well going back to the main question, where can I buy a real rolex super jubilee? Does the rolex store have them for sale or not?

Anyone else getting the feeling we're now on the other side of what makes sense here? I can buy bracelets for other brands, what's going on with Rolex?

Rolex tightly controls their parts as stated by Peter. My understanding and I don't know this for fact is that it used to be easier to do these things in the past, but Rolex has made it a lot harder as time has gone by.

Some ADs are dictorial; others are very informative and helpful; and some are just plain uninformed. I got the run-around when I asked to buy another bezel for my GMT classic. The manager said that "I" have been misinformed; that Rolex never made or sold different colored bezels that could be swapped on different GMT classics. He went on to educate me: "you see, each Rolex watch is unique; and each bezel is made for one watch, and one watch only. If you have a blue and red (pepsi), then that bezel was designed for that watch only, and cannot be swapped. Sorry to have to re-educate you." I asked him to please humor the uninformed, and call Rolex. With a smirk, he agreed. Two hours later, I recieve a call from an associate of the manager who said if I still wanted to buy the new bezel, they could get it for me. And that was all he said. I could have humiliated this young man, but chose to take the high road and ordered the bezel. Sometimes you have to ask more than once.

I bought mine from Puffy here on the forum, send him a PM if you want one. I just received my Super Jubilee today and had it fitted on my 16760, the contrast looks great, against the faded coke bezel. Longtime over due!!

Puffy can get it but it won't be cheap. I'm sure it looks fantastic though.
