DJ+ the fairer sex!
Hi
I'm looking at getting my fiance a TT DJ as a wedding present, and looking at either the 36 or 31 ladies DJ. She has a ladies Cartier Santos but says that she needs to squint to tell the time. So I'm thinking the 36 (plus maybe I can wear it lol) Is it possible to size a 36mm DJ jubilee bracelet to fit a 6 inch wrist? Also can we see some pics of DJs on ladies wrists? Cheers |

See pics below. I have a small wrist~ the Cartier love bracelet is size 16 (smallest size). I would think you can get the jubilee fitted, I have had two links taken out of each of my oysters.

Yes. I have a 7.5 inch wrist, and my wife wore my datejust for about three months. I don't know the size of her wrist, but she is tiny. There are many removeable links on a jubilee bracelet. The watch looked great on her too! And we actually did go back and forth wearing it for awhile. Get the 36!

Hey, there's the side-by-side shot right there, Shannon. A subtle difference... just a little more presence on your wrist with the 31mm. Then again, all of those diamonds might be helping, too.

Shannon that 31 DJ looks
Thanks for the advice Lisa If a jubilee is loose does that prevent or encourage stretch? More pics needed! |

My wife prefers 36mm over the midsize. She is very petite.

36mm dj with salmon face fits my step mom quite nicely! And she has very skinny wrists.
It's simple, if she is sporty type, get 36. If she is dressy and conservative, definitly go ladies. One warning from personal experience, make sure to get the bracelet sized of it is jubilee with her to make sure it sits balanced, my has an extra link taken out at my 6 o'clock and it fits my wrist nice and snugged up, other wise it looked sloppy.

The problem with that lume is that it NEVER lights up under normal conditions. Perhaps a faint glow during a daytime movie for 10 minutes. Pics like those are the reason I bought the watch. Reality is why it was sold three months later. Rolex lume =

My other half tried on a few options and eventually decided on a 36mm DJ on a jubilee. Not sure of her exact wrist size, but she is petite and I would guess less than 6 inches - and I think the 36mm looks great. As others have said, it gives a more sporty and less formal look, so depends on what her bias is.

This thread got me wondering about my exact wrist measurement - so I checked. It's 5 5/8 inches, which explains why my 36mm DJ is still too loose adjusted as small as it will go.
Food for thought if the woman in your life has a wrist smaller than 6 inches - a 36mm DJ may need a permanent link removed to fit properly. I would have hoped that with the popularity of 36mm watches for women, the bracelets would have just a little more adjustability to them... one more removable link would be ideal. |

My wife is 110lbs and has a tiny wrist, she wore my Dj 36mm for a while and it looked great. I removed all the links!! I think 3 per side. However she now has a 26mm dj 2tone and it looks great as well.

My 26mm DJ with oyster bracelet could be adjusted to fit snugly, and so could my 34mm Date, also with oyster bracelet. The bracelet for the 36mm DJ must be slightly longer even with all links removed. Or maybe there's a difference the jubilee bracelet. I've actually never worn a 36mm with oyster bracelet so can't say if it can be adjusted to fit a 5 5/8" or so wrist. |

31 mm
I really have small wrists; have never measured them, but jewelers have a very difficult time sizing things to fit them. I own a 31mm, picture for reference, and I had 3 links taken out. The removable links were on a particular side of the bracelet, and I actually had to have the AD "flip" the bracelet backwards for it sit centered on my wrist. I have tried on the 36mm and it is very large on me. I would say 31mm for small wrists.
