I took my daughter out this morning for breakfast at I Hop. While standing in line to pay I noticed the guy in front of me was wearing a Sea-Dweller! I believe this is the first time I've spotted someone wearing one. Thought I'd share.

Hi Colemanitis, it seems that SD is very rare where you're from?

Where I live, I spot an average of 1 SD every 2-4 weeks.

umm....is this real? SD is not rare by any means.

SDs are harder to find in the wild, from my experience. I see more Subs and DateJusts in my neck of the woods.

I always want to ask someone about their watch when I see a nice watch on the wrist.

There's another guy where I work who has an older Sub and we exchange watches once in a while. His is in excellent condition.

Not rare but not often seen in the wild either.

Maybe unusual is a better word.

It's a rare sight to see the SD! I have only spotted THREE SD's "in real life" during my nearly 20-year "Rolex history".

Yes, my post is real. I see several Rolex watches every week, but I've NEVER spotted a SD. I got a real good look at it... even the gas escape valve!

This is weird, I spot SD's all the time! Was in a tattoo parlour 2 days ago and Jaws was wearing an SD and we're exchanging glances at eaach other's watches while we're talking.

I've spotted 2 TT black subs and a white dialed SS daytona worn by a lady in the gym but have yet to spot an LV sub and TT blue sub.

I've never seen an SD on someone's wrist is public. Never. I've seen 2 subs this past year: in Costco, in Walmart.

Nice Sub, funny you should see one in Walmart (obviously not for sale)

I've seen a 1665 in public on a lawyer of all things. Apart from that I've never seen a SD on anyone except those I know.

Haha!! At Walmart it was some guy and his family. He was checking out my sub too.

Most "luxury" watches I see in the wild are TAGS.

Subs are common,Dwellers are rare.I am actually selling mine,the prize ~ I get to wear one of my Daytonas...... BUT,then I have to ask myself : Why is my Dweller getting so much wristtime ????

I’ve never seen a Sea Dweller even at a Dealers. I think the first time I will ever see one is when I go to buy it!

I guess I feel lucky. 2 guys in my company wear SD's. They are buds. I asked do you dive" no", then why? He said he like the size and the NO CYCLOPS LOL. So, I have seen 2 and Bo has only seen 3. Interesting.

Some how manage to spot lots of Rollies, but the SD is the rarest.
Perhaps this is why I am drawn to this watch as apossible next purchase.

Mine's been spotted by a few eagled-eyed colleagues, but I've yet to see one in the wild.
