I took out a low interest line of credit, consolidated some other debt, paid off some, and used the rest for the Rollie. I had my AD give me the price with tax for the LV a few days before and then walked in with a cashiers check for the full amount.

Paid with cc to get the points and then paid it off come bill time. Is that considered cash these days?

If 2% is horrible what is zero? I actually walked out of the 2 AD's in my area w/out a sale b/c they would not give me a 5% discount. They didn't bat an eye and guess what I went back and paid full msrp.

All three of mine were bought with cash. Not checks, but real live cash complete with pictures of former presidents.

That's what I did mainly because I couldn't bring enough cash for a DD and I would have needed a certified bank check so the credit card was easier. I still got 11% off.

Thanks D! I love my SD, but I regret for not buying the Daytona for $6,550.00. I wished I had bought it.
