Bracelet Repair just competed!

I recently purchased a GMT Master 16750 from a friend of my fathers last month. The Jubilee band on the watch was stretched out a bit, so I decided to take it to a local shop in Los Angles and have it repaired. I was pleasantly surprised yesterday when I picked it up.

This is the results.

This is what it looked like before the repair.

I didn't think it was possible to correct the damage to a bracelet on a Rolex that hand been worn everyday for 24 years.

My original intention was to buy the watch and flip it.......... the more I wear the more I like it......... I think it's a keeper!

Really nice work. I'm sure many members here would like to know where you got that done.

George at G&A Jewelry Designs did the work. I met George about six years ago at a NAWCC convention, I purchased a 16713 GMT Master II two tone from him.
I have no affiliation to them other than I used there services.

The results look pretty good to me.

Perhaps this person could gradually build a very solid reputation on here and give USA members a home-grown alternative to Michael Young, who also seems too bogged down with work.

I was charged $240.00. That included a refinish job on the case.
George did the case while I waited so I didn't have to leave the watch head.
I think the price is defiantly more than Michael Young in Hong Kong but I felt if was worth the extra cost to deal with someone face to face and not have to deal with the whole shipping thing.

3 weeks to compete the job.
