If you have bought othere items on-line, or are use to cash deals for cars, boats and motorcycles, then you can educate yourself and use a trusted TRF seller.

If you are going to chew your nails down to the cuticle because you just wired a months pay off to Florida, or anywhere else for that matter, go the AD route.

I personally buy nothing new and hate sales taxes...

I was going to thru an AD originally when buying my sub c but loved the idea of saving on the watch and not having to pay taxes. So after much research I bought from a trusted seller here on TRF and all went as smooth as you can imagine. Went so well I recently just bought a datejust for my wife on TRF again bc the savings are so great!!!

It depends on what you are looking for and if having your name on the warranty card is a must. Most of the items sold here from trusted sellers come with time still left on the warranty card on the newer style of Rolexes.

Look around on the for sale section and also check out your local AD, see which one you prefer.

A Rolex-loving associate says that everyone should enjoy the AD experience at least once in their lives. I live 600kms from the nearest AD so I rather enjoy trolling through the listings from reputable sellers on TRF. I am happy with a second-hand or near new Rolex for my money so will almost certainly buy my next one (theres always a 'next' one) from here.

I bought mine from an AD and got a 20% discount, plus no sales tax. Therefore; I got mine from an AD at about the same price it's being sold for on TRF. The cheapest version of my watch that I've seen on ebay is listed for $300 more than I paid at an AD.

Not necessarily. Some BNIB prices can definitely be competitive for international customers because of import taxes, etc. I got my DJII at practically the same price from an AD as a trusted seller was selling here if I factored in shipping/customs/forex.

AD is the way to go, imo, if it is your first purchase.

I also got a SUB-C from a AD for about what they are going for here and he shipped it out of state to save taxes

It's kind of nice to establish a relationship (make a purchase) from an AD but you can sure save some $'s with a trusted TRF reseller. Welcome to TRF Steve!

I will never lease a car for a dealership again.

I bought my first in November at an AD. Been kicking myself ever since because of the extra money I spent and the lack of any real benefit from the AD experience. I bought this week from a Trusted Seller with no regrets and a great experience. Will never do it any other way again. Whether you want BNIB or preworn, I think a Trusted Seller is the best route. But, that's just my opinion after experiencing both in 7 months. Either way, you will love the watch, so enjoy the hunt
