Serial number coincidence?

Hey I was going over the history of the letters in the serial numbers starting in 1987...is it just coincidence that the first four letters were RLEX? I'm assuming they skipped the 'O' cause it could have been mistaken for a zero. Has anyone mentioned this before?

What is best a custom Rolex or a Rolex that is stuck in custom?

Buy a professional camera and you´re a professional
photographer, buy a flute and you own a flute.
