Not sure if you have but I would try contacting the trusted sellers here and request they locate one for you, and perhaps at a great price.

I have opposite feelings about the engraved rehaut. But I doubt I would pay a substantial premium to get one without it. Oh well, get the one you want

So long as you can sensibly afford the extra money, then I wouldn't compromise.
Irrespective of whatever feature you desire on your watch (the engraved rehaut in your case) and other people's perceived value of that feature, ultimately it is your watch and I would recommend getting something you're 100% happy with. Conceptually I don't see much difference in say choosing between a 116610LN and the slightly more expensive 116610LV. They're fundamentally the same watch, some like black, some like green, some think it's worth the extra cash, some don't. In the end, people go for what sings to them most. |

If it was me I'd save the $2,700 and buy another watch. Maybe $500 extra to have that slight variance in the watch of your dreams but not $2,700.

I know that anytime I settle, it costs me twice as much because I always end up having to get what I originally wanted too. J

The $$$ you save will quickly be forgotten, but you'll see your watch every day. Go for the one you want.

Well.....it looks like I will continue to wait. I called the AD who had th watch with the engraved rehaut and they sold it two weeks ago for two grand more than they offered it to me for. I guess a sucker I born every day, so I'll just continue to wait and cruise the classifieds.
