all right ...its fall back time!!! Set your clocks back 1 hour if you live in the United States....

the rolex question is....

is it bad to like move the hour hand back counter clockwise...?

or is it better to like move it twice around clockwise....?

Hey,
I was always told that it was never good to move the hands counter clockwise.
I don't know if it is really true, though

Moved my hands back many times as I go through zones......and as far as I know it makes no difference which way you turn...hopefully

Not true. Another "oh no, I may break my rolex!" myth. You can wind backwards and forwards as often as you wish.

Wind it back. If Rolex have made a movement so fragile then I would be very dissapointed. There is nothing in the scant literature that you recieve to suggest that this will do harm. Another Rolex Myth?

Lemon

You can move the hands both CW and CCW without harming the movt.

The only thing that you would want to avoid is to change the date MANUALLY via the crown between 10 PM and 2 AM, since this could interfere negatively with the date change mechanism.

I have moved the watch hands back and forward over the years with no issues. I do this all the time when flying from place to place. I say do it.
