Submariners links removing?

My AD removed 3 links from my sub c from the 12 mark side but when i took it home it felt not right since the clasp from the 6 oclock mark was near the dial and felts annoying because of it being very close to my bone. So i took it back to them today so they removed one link from the longer side (12oclock side) and fixed it to the 6oclock side which instantly looked and felt better. But my question is did they do anything wrong by removing from one side and shifting it to the other side? are all removable links have the same size? and if there is certain number of links that should be removed of each side (for instance if i need to remove 3 links how many ones should be removed from the 12oclock side and how many should be removed from the 6oclock)?

Sorry if this is a repetitive thread or seems amature but it's my first Rolex and therefore i am still verrrrrry excited and careful about it

Your fine, they should have done this in the begininng, they were just being lazy IMO

They should have removed 2 from one side and 1 from the other during the first sizing (based on how you described the remedy they made on the 2nd sizing visit).

It is easy to do this right the first time with an experienced person - but maybe they had a less experienced one help you.

Personally, I like to try and keep the bracelet the same on both sides of the watch if possible. I will do some adjustment at the clasp to keep it as even as possible.

Yeah i like to have as even as possible but it seems that removing 3 links from one side isnt the right way to do it, instead it should be 2 from 12 and 1 from 6oclock, as per my observation

There is no right and wrong to sizing a bracelet.
The goal however, is to not only get a correct and comfortable fit, but to center the buckle on the underside of your wrist.....

The AD was either lazzy, or didn't care, to have pulled all 3 links from one side and not make sure you had a well sitting watch on your wrist.

Agree with all! Should have been 2 from 12 side and 1 from 6 side. General rule is more links left on 12 side!

Actually, there is a right and wrong to sizing a watch. The inside piece of the fold-over clasp (the bar that sits against the bottom of your wrist) should be parallel to the case back. Usually, this means making the 6:00 side of the bracelet disproportionately shorter than the 12:00 side of the bracelet.

Me, too. My SubDate bracelet is exactly even on both sides and fits great!

They looked parallel to me. When i closed the clasp (wearing the watch) you can notice 4 links of each side which means that the shorter side has 4 links and the other side has 4 visible links and the rest are under the clasp hidden (minus the total of 3 removed links )
Now it turned to be a mathemtic problem
