Prepping my PAM320 for sale
Hello all,
First post! And new to the forum after spending time on a different one. I purchased a PAM320 about 3 years ago, and am prepping it for sale. Its at my AD getting cleaned up now. They said they would be willing to make me an offer before I consider all my options. Any idea on what my lowest dollar should be? I purchased it pre-owned for about $7k. I'm thinking I should be able to get at least $6k out of it, right? In any case, I am currently researching my first rolex or potentially a JLC. Help me out with an approximate value range for the PAM320. Thanks in advance! P.S. forgot to mention I have box and papers and 4 straps. |

I highly doubt an AD, or any reseller for that matter, will be close to $6,000.
Figure that a used 320 will fetch somewhere around the $6,000. There are NIB on sale here for $7 and change +-. So, from a business standpoint, you will need to leave 15-20% for overhead and haggling. If I were a reseller, I would offer you something like $4,800-5000. Good luck on your sale and welcome to the forum.

I'd be surprised if you got more than $4k from the AD. Sell it yourself after polishing for around $6500 and it'll go pretty quick.

go to Ebay and look at the completed listings to get a reference price.
chrono24 will give you an idea as well. |

Try your luck selling it on paneristi.com
or at least use the site for research As others have siad, you will get a very low price from the AD. The only plus factor will be the speed and ease of selling

Thanks for all the responses. I know the AD will be the lowest offer. I am thinking that they will give me a cash offer, but sweeten the deal with a higher trade offer.
They are local and trusted. A longstanding fellow local business owner type thing. They did say that either way, they would be willing to help stage my piece for sale properly. I thought that was pretty cool. I still have some time as they said it will be a week or two. I may try to sell it here but I am new so people might be shy. We will see. Thanks again! |

I would offer this. If the AD is both a Rolex and Panerai dealer, and you decide on a Rolex, you may be able to get MORE in trade for the Pam in lieu of a discount. I did that with my new TT Sub. Traded in an Omega and got 1.5x its value. The AD said they did not discount Rolex, but would work with me on the trade. Don't give up on trading it in, just don't settle for less than you could get selling it outright.

If youre selling it with all the straps you mentioned and the condition of the strap after polishing is at least 95% like new. 6k should be easy. But sell it personally.
